Der Sportclub Meran kann all die vielen Aufgaben nur mit Hilfe der vielen freiwilligen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter in den verschiedenen Sektionen und einer gut strukturierten Verwaltung gerecht werden. Während die zentrale Geschäftsstelle mit zwei hauptamtlichen Mitarbeitern besetzt ist, werden die 19 Abteilungen von einer Sektionsleitung mit eigenem Vorstand geleitet, welcher sich in der Regel aus mindestens fünf Personen zusammensetzt. Insgesamt engagieren sich über 100 Funktionärinnen und Funktionäre freiwillig für den Verein, weitere fünfzig bis sechzig technische Figuren stellen ihre Fachkompetenz in den Dienst des Sports.
